The company has been manufacturing and supplying the Worldwide food and beverage industry with premium malt products for 100 years. In more recent years the company has have received accreditation from the Soil Association to produce Organic Malt Extract, Organic Barley Syrup and Organic Diastatic Malt Extract. This is the result of a partnership to ensure customers of our exemplary standards of quality, traceabilty and taste. DiaMalt Organic Malt Extract
DiaMalt Organic Malt Extract is a 100% Malt Extract made with the finest quality organic malted barley. Organic Malt Extract is made by extracting organic malted barley, Hordeum distichon L, with hot water. The wort is concentrated by vacuum evaporator to 80% w/w solids. The product can be used as a food ingredient in a wide range of organic food products including in breakfast cereals, biscuits and cakes.


DiaMalt Organic Diastatic Malt Extract

Organic Diastatic malt extract is a natural product used to provide a valuable source of flavourings and enzymes. Organic diastatic malt extract is made from the aqueous extract of organic malted barley. By carefully controlling the evaporation process during concentration the naturally occurring enzymes in the original organic malt are preserved, enabling the end user to make use of the enzyme activity. The product can be used in a variety of products including brewing, baking and malt loaves.


Organic Barley Syrup (Barley Extract)
DiaMalt's Organic Barley Syrup is made from the finest quality organic unmalted barley. Organic Barley Syrup is made by extracting sound unmalted barley, Hordeum Distichon L, with hot water and enzymes. This wort is concentrated by vacuum evaporator to 81% w/w solids. The product can be used as a food ingredient in a wide range of organic food products including in breakfast cereals, biscuits and cakes.
